Battle Rock Charter School offers children a unique, rural educational experience that utilizes the surrounding historical, agricultural and natural resources to teach rigorous, standards-based curriculum. The school's extra curricular programs/facilities include music and art along with more unusual programs such as a poultry operation, a horse program and a Navajo language program.
Two groups handle the school's leadership responsibilities: the charter school's governing board and the school's parent accountability committee with the participation of full time staff members.
