For many years, Battle Rock
teachers lived in a little house across the playground from the stone
school.Today, the teacheridge is used as our cafeteria and in the afternoon as our Art and Music classroom
“Art is a language kids can
communicate with long before they are proficient readers and writers. The Visual
Arts and Music help develop the brain, aid in coordination, teach problem
solving and often are a much needed respite when a child is struggling with
other areas of their schooling. Plus losing oneself with some paints or song is
just plan fun!”
